Is Organic food Beneficial?

Organic food has become popular in todays society. Its demand has become greater than the amount that can be supplied. Organic food is food that is grown naturally without any chemicals. In the article "Organic Foods: Are they safer?", the mayo staff clinic discusses whether the organic foods are truly beneficial. They first discuss the process of making food organic and the regulations that they have to meet by government to be considered organic. The clinic claims that in study's that it is not clear whether or not organic food is more beneficial.  I believe that organic foods is free of pesticides.

In the picture at the bottom, the man dreads the fact that he can only shop at a local store rather than an organic store. He would rather eat organic food because he knows it is healthier for his body.

  1. I love getting organic food and spend a lot of time in Whole Foods however I spend too much money.. It is healthy but expensive..

  5. Oraganic food is very expensive and inoraganic is very cheap, so if they maybe the same nutriciously? I say if there is no big difference as in health wise we should stick to inoragnic.
